An Arizona jury found the Center for Biological Diversity guilty of making "false, unfair, libelous and defamatory statements" against rancher, Jim Chilton. Chilton, a fifth-generation Arizona rancher was awarded $100,000 in actual damages and $500,000 in punitive damages from the Center and three of its employees. "The Center does not use science, they use scare tactics" says Chilton. "They also use endangered species as surrogates to obtain their own goals and to raise money." Some say the Center was responsible for last year's catastrophic fires in San Diego because of their pursuit of environmental lawsuits that prevented private owners from managing fuel loads. Cecil Rhodes and other Englishman and Americans originated Fabian socialism. Where did Fabian ideas come from? Researcher Will Roberts traces Fabian socialism to August Comte's worldview called Positivism. Comte envisioned a world that would evolve into what Huxley described in Brave New World or what George Orwell described in 1984. Comte originated the "science" of sociology, coined the term altruism (living life for others) as he envisioned a world with a very narrow ruling elite, high priests (secular) and a classless mass of society - the expendable worker bees - Sustainable Development in Action!
