Below is a compilation of 14 frequently asked questions and Freedom Advocates' responses.

Q1.  I suspect Sustainability and Agenda 21 policies are in my town.  What do I do and how do I get people to understand this danger?

Your instincts are correct. Agenda 21 is world-wide and has infiltrated every town in America and many others across the globe.

Most Agenda 21 programs give lip service to positive sounding words and programs that in reality are bad for us. In order to understand and counter this deception, it is beneficial to study all parts of this website and continue to research the issues further. Articles are broken down into various categories and give examples of Agenda 21 at work. They also lead you to other excellent researchers and reporters on the subject. There are PowerPoint slides, speech transcripts with up to date local examples, and videos as well.

The Research Center is rich in original documents including the Agenda 21 1992 United Nations book for you to freely use as a research tool. Familiarize yourself with our Neighborhood Tools, Free Downloads , the vast radio shows and the Store. Use the Freedom Advocates website search box to find information on specific topics.

Begin sharing the information with others. Small gatherings and pot luck meals are good ways to bring people together.

Q2.  Our city’s Comprehensive Plan (CP) doesn’t say ICLEI or Agenda 21 but it seems to be the same thing.  How do we know when it is Sustainable Development?

If it is a Comprehensive Plan (CP), you can be certain it is Sustainable Development, Agenda 21. In fact one Agenda 21 operator had this to say:

“Participating in a U.N. advocated planning process would very likely bring out many… who would actively work to defeat any elected official… undertaking Local Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. So we call our process something else such as ‘comprehensive planning’, ‘growth management’ or ‘smart growth’.”

Review the CP documents and assess whether it is in compliance with "sustainable" objectives. One can identify and understand the warm and fuzzy terms and review the CP in the context of Sustainable Development values which include increasing fees, rules and regulations regarding private property and human behavior.

Q3.  We are a small group of individuals that understand Sustainable Development, how do we grow our numbers?

Hold informative special events, even if it is with a small group. Consider a speaker or show DVDs that are designed to inform others.

Approach other groups but realize that most national and international organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, National Farm Bureaus, etc. advance Agenda 21 principles. Truly grass-roots organizations will be your best avenues for success.

Attend City Council meetings, school boards, County Commissioner meetings, etc... and speak up. Even if the officials do not react favorably, your message will be heard by the audience. If broadcast by TV or internet then a broader public audience will also hear the message. Your important statements and documents should become part of the public record.

Q4.  ICLEI is established in our town.  How do we get rid of it?

Start by studying the ICLEI Primer and ICLEI - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. We have many other articles, videos, radio shows and materials as well. For more, go to the Freedom Advocates website search engine and type in: ICLEI.

Q5.  What is being done in other communities to combat ICLEI?

People are using one or a combination of the following approaches:

1. Public Awareness via personal presentations and localized websites. The Colorado Plains serves as a good example. Click here for more information.

2. Inform elected officials on the nature of and long term effects of ICLEI involvement, including information regarding the constitutional prohibitions. Watch videos of people speaking out here.

3. Engage in the public initiative process with legislative provisions outlawing ICLEI and cleansing ordinances of Agenda 21 provisions. There are some in the works. See an example from Spokane, WA here.

4. Run for office or coordinate with someone who will, with the intention of removing Agenda 21 programs. Carroll County, MD is a good example; upon election they got rid of ICLEI. Listen here.

Q6.  Is it enough to just get rid of ICLEI?


No, because the Agenda 21 Action Plan has tentacles that spread within governmental bodies. Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), accredited by the U.N., deeply influence and combine with government at all levels of government to implement Agenda 21. Federalized local regional planning agencies such as MPOs (Metro Planning Organizations) and COGs (Councils of Governments) are committed to implementing globalism through regional controls.

Agenda 21 is often funded at the local level by federal agencies including the EPA, HUD, Department of Energy, Department of Education, Department of Transportation, Fish and Wildlife, Department of Agriculture, etc. Free money is not free. There are always strings attached. 

Q7.  My place of worship often speaks of "interfaith" programs. Does this mean Sustainable Development, Agenda 21?

Yes, Sustainable Development, Agenda 21 commands a one world religion based on "Gaia" (earth worship) through the values of the Earth Charter.

A large number of churches have adopted community organizing as the strategy to implement the action plan of Sustainable Development. Many clergy have been drawn to community organizing because of the lures of "social justice," which is very different from the American principles of "equal justice." 

The churches that have succumbed to the doctrine of "social justice" have forged a world-wide movement of interfaith organizations, some operating under an ecumenical concept. These groups often influence City Hall and use aggressive tactics to advance Agenda 21 programs. 

Q8.  Some people use the term capitalism to mean something good and others use it to mean something bad.  Which is it?

The word triggers confusion among different audiences because capitalism has come to mean an economic system that is designed to advance multi-national corporate interests and partnerships between business and government rather than free-enterprise. These partnering corporations and businesses are the ones that are advancing Sustainable Development around the world today.

The 1988 unabridged Webster’s Dictionary defines capitalism as originally based on free enterprise but evolved during the 20th century into partnership with government (today this is called public private partnership, the economic engine upon which Agenda 21 is built). America was not founded on this most recent definition of capitalist principles. The term did not come into vogue until Karl Marx first used the term in the middle of the 19th century. The appropriate term to describe true American economics is free enterprise, which of course necessitates a political recognition of unalienable rights.

Q9.  What are the mechanisms that perpetuate Agenda 21 programs?

The main mechanisms for Agenda 21's advance are the current monetary system coordinated through the Bank for International Settlements and trade policy dictated by the World Trade Organization. If not stopped they will transform humans into livestock (Agenda 21).

The United Nations’ Agenda 21 Sustainable Development is a movement. The commitment was coordinated by the following:

1) Agenda 21 was agreed to by 178 nations (with their funding capacity) including grant money.

2) Thousands of NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) are accredited by the United Nations for purposes of implementing Agenda 21 Sustainable Development.

3) Multinational corporations and other businesses that partner and often receive subsidy from government advance the economic and marketing components of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development.

4) Academia is nearly fully infiltrated with Agenda 21 implementers (many of whom are truly useful idiots) as academia is organized and financed to advance Agenda 21 Sustainable Development ideas among the youth.

5) Private foundations including Pew, MacArthur, Packard, Carnegie, Mellon, Turner, Rockefeller, Soros, Gates, Tides, Community Foundations and many others are also financing Agenda 21 Sustainable Development objectives.

Q10.  Where is the money for Sustainable Development coming from in this time of recession and lack of funds?

Financing for Sustainable Development is simply a reflection of the nature of fiat currency which is un-backed paper money created through a printing press. The globalist banking machinery prints the dollars that are loaned with interest to government. A billion here, and a trillion there. Q11.  Can you give me solid proof that Imagine Cities are tied into ICLEI/Agenda 21?  A group has started this where I live, and I am concerned.  They are using the same language and terms, but it is hard to nail it down.  Are there other cities that have started Imagine, and then applied for ICLEI?  

If you want to see if your Imagine City or Transition City is on the ICLEI list go to the ICLEI website member list (although list is incomplete and not updated regularly). Imagine Cities is the standard Agenda 21 code speak: It uses the words "adaptive reuse" as a substitute for changing land-use through zoning and infrastructure changes. Imagine Cities at this website http://cities.sarcenet.org/, utilizes regionalism to ultimately erase town, city, county, state, etc... borders. There are many organizations doing this same type of thing all over the country. What connects all of this is the fact that organizations like Imagine Cities express the same values, patterns, and outcomes as Agenda 21. If you track down the funding sources, you will find the same roots that feed Agenda 21.

All counties in America are implementing Agenda 21. The easy part is seeing that we are surrounded. The globalists just happen to have a variety of labels. The best course of action is to spread the information in town about Sustainable Development - Imagine Cities then can be used as a local example of the global blueprint.

Q12.  In my city they just started working on their Green City Initiative Workshop open to the public.  I would like to be able to stop this and try to inform the public and officials of the Agenda 21 Program.  What should I do?

There are two basic approaches as one starts out in a community. One notion is to build awareness in the public and the other is to proceed to inform the elected officials of what they are doing. Ideally both paths are taken.
 
Typically elected officials continue down the Agenda 21 course undeterred by warnings but the tide is turning. Regardless, there is benefit because you have put the politicians on notice and you have caused the public to become aware of Agenda 21 policies and consequences. Be sure you understand the consensus process or Delphi techniques being used in the Green City Initiative Workshop. We have a lot of information on the Freedom Advocates website. In order to assess what will fit each individual situation review our pamphlets, PowerPoints, radio shows, videos, articles, etc. on the site as well. Most tools are available for free as a download or available in our store.

Q13.  Many say that Agenda 21 Sustainable Development is like Communism but I have heard others talk of Fascism.  What is it?

To call the Agenda 21 Sustainable Development action plan “communism” (or "socialist" or "progressive") causes people to become confused and encourages them to fall into the artificial left/right political spectrum. Both sides of that spectrum bring essential contributions to the globalist outcome. The reality is that most politically liberal people are not communist, and most politically conservative people are not fascist. It is typically the benefactors and the leaders of the left and the right who are supporters of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development (which explains why we have not heard about Agenda 21 Sustainable Development from politicians or mainstream media). The magic of the formula is that a fake battle can be waged – the right vs. the left – while leaders of the right and the left together feed us distractions while the synthesis of left and right, globalism, forges forward through its action plan of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development.

The term communism is not descriptive of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development yet the judicial thesis of Agenda 21, social justice, is substantially communist in nature. However, the economic system of Agenda 21, public (government) private partnership, is corporatist or fascist – certainly not communist. Some argue that the corporatist achievements are then planned to morph humans into a classless slave or serf society. 

When we started addressing this word we substituted the word collectivist or communitarian for communist. It does not cause the same trigger reaction and people are sometimes curious as to what it means so it makes for an opening into further discussions.

Today the world is threatened by a totalitarian dictate as the social policy of the Bolsheviks is coupled with the economic policy of Hitler’s Germany. The result is a war on reason and a planned fall of civilization. This is the threat of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development.

Q14. Where does Agenda 21 address population reduction?

The Global Biodiversity Assessment Report put out by the United Nations, page 773, calls for a population reduction to 1 billion people. (An exception is provided: if the world is de-industrialized, a peasant population of 4- 5 billion is to be allowed)

The UN’s Global Biodiversity Report states:

“Population growth has exceeded the capacity of the biosphere”

“It is estimated that an “agricultural world in which most human beings are peasants, should be able to support 5 to 7 billion people”

“In contrast, a reasonable estimate for an industrialized world society at the present North American material standard of living would be 1 billion”

The global biodiversity report also makes numerous calls for the abolition of private property by calling for such things as the elimination of suburban housing, ski resorts, golf courses, and much, much more.
