Private property rights in California are being subjected to Agenda 21, a United Nations' declaration on the collective society's right to control private property.
Agenda 21 is being adopted in the San Francisco Bay Area under the name Plan Bay Area. Plan Bay Area hosted a 'dog and pony' show in April and May of 2011 to showcase their 'vision' and to 'solicit' public feedback. This is one of those meetings that did not go well for the facilitators due to the attendance of aware and concerned people.

Tonja talks to the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors in support of Alternative D. As the county moves forward on a General Plan update, they proposed alternatives A, B, and C. They all change property rights without the owner's permission and B & C make the UN's Agenda 21 - 'Smart Growth' - the law in Calaveras County. Alternative D - coined by Tonja - proposes that property rights are paramount. This speech was given April 20, 2010.
